Donation to Charity
In honor of McCombs' dad, brother, and all our military heroes, she is donating a portion of the proceeds from Daddy's Going Away to United Through Reading™ - a charity that provides military service members who are separated from their families the opportunity to be video-recorded reading books for their children to watch at home.
United Through Reading's™ mission is to unite military families facing physical separation by facilitating the bonding experience of reading aloud together.
Their vision is that all children will feel the security of caring family relationships and develop a love of reading through the read aloud experience.
